Question:
I want to add another color to my family room. My sofa's are the color taupe. My curtains and throw pillows are off-white. My walls are painted a very light taupe color. Any suggestions Thanx, Mits

You need to add some zing with a bold color or a subdued one, just add color! I would suggest a dark red or a sage green for one wall. Bring that color into the rest of the room with pillows, accessories and an area rug. Work in threes with color around your rooms. Decide what type of theme you want and go with those colors and products.

Right now, your room is bland. Spicing it up doesn't mean you have to add loud color, just ADD color. There are color tools at BHG.com and more ideas at my site.

Thanx HGPgal, your suggestion about the sage wall, (the fireplace wall would be perfect) pillows, rugs, and accessories sounds great to me. I love the idea, and I'm going with it! Thanks a heap. Huggies! Mitzi
